Roderick Brown

Roderick Brown’s wood sculptures attempt to reconcile our place in the natural world. The patterned surfaces sample from cultural and natural sources alike; revealing themselves within the constraints of the sculptural form. They intend to expose the places where we intersect and shape each others’ existence.

Born in Ontario, Terrace, British Columbia-based artist Roderick Brown lives with his family in the Skeena River valley. He is an internationally collected wood sculptor who has exhibited his work in several group and solo shows.
